Cute Baby Kiwis!
The national symbol of New Zealand – much to the jealousy of animal lovers everywhere is the adorably fluffy and fat Kiwi! So popular is the symbol of the Kiwi in New Zealand that popularly, people from New Zealand are nicknamed “Kiwis”! And you know those delicious green fruits with the “hairy” brown skin you can buy in the supermarket? Those fruits – called kiwifruits hail from New Zealand and are named for the famous flightless bird whose bodies they resemble closely.
Not only are kiwis totally cute and popular, but they are also amazing! At full growth, no bigger than your average chicken, these little island peepers lay eggs with one of the absolute largest size ratio relative to their little bodies in the whole oviparous world!
