Clydesdales: Cutest Baby Horses You’ll See All Day!
You may have seen this famous breed of horse prominently displayed in Budweiser advertisements around Christmas time and the Super Bowl. Pulling a carriage or playing a crazy game of horse football, these beautiful equines always entertain. Clydesdales are especially recognizable because of the cute “feathering” of the hair around their hooves which gives them an adorable “boot” look to their lower legs. Originally, the Clydesdale breed was among the shortest of draught horses, but selective breeding has made them rather tall!
Of course, even the biggest animal starts off small and cute, and when baby Clydesdale horses are born, they – like most equines – are called “foals”. Foal is a name given to a baby horse when it is under one year of age, and of course, this is the time when they are the absolute cutest!
