Baby Reindeer – Not Just For Christmas
Reindeer aren’t just holiday fun, and they don’t all live in the North Pole! As a matter of fact, reindeer are real, and their babies are really cute! All gangly and awkward and knobby kneed. They don’t have their telltale gigantic antlers just yet, but little reindeer have their advantages all the same: fluffy tails, cute big doey eyes.
In fact, most adorable baby reindeer do live in cold climates – all reindeer live in the northern hemisphere, mostly in Canada and northern Eurasia – including most of northern Russia. And if you think looking at cute baby reindeer is fun, imagine how much fun they’d have looking at you! Scientific studies suggest that they are the only mammals on earth who can see ultraviolet light!
Also called caribou, and close relative of other species of moose and deer, the caribou is definitely one of the cutest baby hooved beasts there is! Agree?
