Baby Bottlenose Dolphins
Bottlenose dolphins are one of the smartest animals in the world. These large marine mammals are highly social and empathetic, making them a fan-favorite at zoos, aquariums and beaches all across the world. Of course we’d like to pay special attention to the fact that bottlenose dolphins have some of the cutest babies you’re going to see on land or sea! Adorable dolphin babies are luckily plentiful as the bottlenose is the most common species of dolphin in the world. There are a number of other different dolphin species (40 altogether) but the image of the bottlenose species is probably what comes to mind when you imagine our friendly blue-grey marine mammal friends because movies and television love to feature them.
It’s also lucky for cute baby animal lovers all over the world that aside from being populous, baby dolphins can be seen in almost every single major ocean in the world, with a range that extends through both the Atlantic and Pacific and most of the smaller seas in between. If we could make a wish to take one totally sweet animal for a dream pet, it might just have to be one of these brilliant sea creatures. Wouldn’t everybody love a baby dolphin? They always look like they are smiling.
