Baby Squirrel Monkey’s Are Two Kinds Of Cute
You know what’s really cute? Baby squirrels. You know what else is really cute? Baby monkeys. You know what’s possibly the cutest thing ever? A baby squirrel monkey! Natives of the tropical forests of Central and South America, these little guys and gals are often kept as pets in other countries as they are somewhat easily trained and never grow too huge. They often top out in size at around a foot tal and a two pounds in weight. Squirrel monkeys can be found in the canopy layer in the wild, and are known to use their tails as tools and as “balancing poles” (imagine how cute one of these little critters must be when it’s basically levitating on its tail. After a long day of using its tail for adorable tasks, a baby squirrel monkey will eat a meal of fruits, insects, seeds, leaves, flowers, buds, nuts, eggs, and small rodents. Due to some unfortunate poaching, some species of squirrel monkey are in danger of extinction, so it’s important that we conserve these little guys and make sure that they’re around to warm out hearts and hug their mommies for years to come. Baby squirrel monkeys are awesome, and we hope to always have them on this planet.
