Cute baby sugar gliders are one of the most adorable marsupials in the whole world. So cute in fact that they have become very popular pets. But keeping these adorable baby animals in your home can pose a few issues so don’t let their big eyes and furry looks fool you. For example, as nocturnal animals, these furry little guys spend most of the night when you are trying to sleep running around and making a bunch of noise. They have a telltale distinct “bark” sometimes called a “crab” – which is loud, noisy and unmistakable. So they are definitely able to keep you up all night while they are doing their thing at all hours. Of course, if you’re a night-owl and love cute little marsupials, maybe then one of these is the best pet for you. If you did want to keep a sugar glider for a pet, you should know that they subsist on a very specific diet of mostly fruits and vegetable matter, which can be expensive if you are taking proper care of your pet, that is of course unless you already have a good supply of sap, melons, manna, gum and spiders for feeding furry night creatures. And if you did want to obtain one of these guys make sure you do it legally so you know that your animal is safe and healthy because these animals are one of the most commonly illegally traded animals.
