Slender, Spotted, Big-Eared African Cat
The serval looks a bit like a cheetah with its spots and slender body. It is also a fast runner and native of Africa but the serval is a little smaller and has big ears on a smallish head and has long limbs. The big ears help it tune it to a variety of prey that the serval stalks at night and pounces on. Theses wild cats do like to climb in the trees and can travel large distances on the prowl. Usually, two kittens are born in a litter, light in color and defenseless for some time. They open their eyes after about 11 days.
