Twin Snow Leopards Born at the Albuquerque Zoo
The young twins, just over three months old, are already on public exhibition. The twins are both males and are reportedly shy but active. The mother is an active breeder and has given birth each of the last five years and has descendants spread out in eight other zoos throughout North America. This is a happy success because the snow leopards are an endangered species in the wild and need a little help to maintain their survival.
